Common Cause Connecticut is an important leader in advocating for our democracy in Connecticut and making sure that it works for all communities. This organization is recognized nationally for helping to enact public financing of campaigns and show its viability and ability to help level the playing field for candidates running for office.
As a first time candidate for elected office, I was proud to participate in the Citizens’ Election Program. I entered the race with little infrastructure, but the experience offered me an important opportunity to recruit grassroots donors and demonstrate both my viability and support from across the state as I seek the Democratic nomination for State Treasurer.
Democracy is on the ballot in 2022.
